GOLD STAR FARMS DE GHANA COMENZARÁ LA PRODUCCIÓN DE BIODIÉSEL A PARTIR DE JATROPHA ESTE AÑO; EN 5 MILLONES DE ACRES BAJO CONTRATO.

Gold Star Farms informó que ha obtenido obligaciones hacia granjeros para mantener 5 millones de acres de cultivos de jatropha, y comenzarán la producción de biodiésel este año en su planta en Nkawkaw en la región oriental del país. El año pasado, Gold Star formó una empresa conjunta (joint venture) con USFuelTech para utilizar pequeñas unidades para producir diodiésel en Chile, utilizando como materia prima cultivos locales de jatropha.
